If you want a good example I'll sell you my Aug 2016 M140i with 800 miles on the clock for 50K :D
:o Your car only has 800 miles on it!! :o
How much must you have lost in depreciation just to have that car and do only 800 miles?
You could probably have been chauffeur driven everywhere you wanted to go in the last 2 years cheaper.
Depreciation doesn't matter as I'm keeping the car indefinitely, whichever way 800 or 800,000 it will still depreciate, just means I can keep the car longer before it falls apart :)

Sorry if off topic but have you got the M140i on a pcp or similar deal Tim?
You don't stop playing when you get old - You get old when you stop playing!
So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with.

Its on a 4 year PCP Ron and will be buying it off BMW end of term. With the mileage being kept low I imagine it will be worth more than the balloon payment but it makes sense to me to keep it than trading in for another new car. I really don't fancy the 4cyl replacement either

I’m still trying to get my head around PCP - now I’ve seen how much our 335xd with all the toys has depriciated I will have a better yardstick for a potential new car.
