My first ever win

Post by TitanTim » Sat Dec 01, 2018 9:38 pm

A few weeks ago I entered a competition with a watch company I've bought from in the past, I didn't really think much of it, just remember answering a question and firing my e-mail address off, I didn't even look at what the prize was just randomly fired an e-mail off. I never really bother with these type of things as I've never won anything in my life.

A few days ago received a phone call and asked if I'd had an e-mail from them, well I did but as it was entitled You're a Winner I thought it was spam and deleted it  :headbang:

Call was from the company owner to say I had won their competition, thats great I thought, so what have I won, I was slightly gobsmacked :o

Nice one Tim. I considered buying one of thier Coniston Bluebird watches.I've always been a bit skeptical about competitions online, maybe I should re-consider this!

Very nice, congratulations! That's a really nice prize and a beautiful watch :)

We won 2 Facebook competitions this year. A local jewelers was running a "Like and Share" promotion and we ended up with a rose gold necklace with an amber pendant and then we one a VIP trip to the F1 GP at Silverstone with Castrol! That was amazing, paddock passes, trips to the Renault pits, grandstand seating, overnight hotel and all meals etc. That was a proper competition you had to work through, but well worth the 15 minutes it took :)
