Appropriate dress for the occasion ?

Post by ronk » Sun Nov 11, 2018 9:55 pm

I watched the Service at the Cenotaph this morning and was amazed to see how Corbyn was dressed - I’ve thrown better coats into the charity bag.
He could surely have got a few quid together to buy a decent dress overcoat for such an important event?

I thought it was disrespectful

He has always been like that though, every year he dresses like a tramp when laying the reef. Would be better if he didn't bother turning up

I was quite surprised he was singing along to God Save the Queen or was it God Save the Labour Party.

He’s a senile senseless old vagrant hippie wannabe that couldn’t give two f**ks about what today meant....as Firebobby said it would have so much better if the disrespectful old idiot had stayed away and spent the day tossing it off with the scroungers and bone bastard idle layabouts that blight this country that he wants to ruin us giving money to. He’s a complete waster. I know but for Christ’s sake I bet he puts the bins out in that coat. Show some damn respect for the veterans there and those that weren’t, for the dead that let us all be here. He’s the only one, THE only one that dressed like an old tramp. I stood in the care home with my 94yr old mum who was on the search lights in WW2 with a tear in her eye and that old s**t runined it with his ‘I couldn’t care less” display. He’s a bloody disgrace. :x

He should be emptying the bins in that coat - very Steptoe & Son. Mind you that would involve working, and Labour don't seem to be big fans of that concept! :headbang:

I watched it with my 96 year old mum who had her first job in the Admiralty less than 6 months before it all kicked off - it soon got busy!

It goes without saying she wasn't impressed..........

Michael Foot attended in his green Donkey Jacket some years ago - remember my old father being annoyed and a bit upset about it!

Ps Corbyn has got the “Old Steptoe” look about him!
