All jest apart - it’s a tremendous jacket - I feel the cold at my age. The only downsides are it’s bulky and an overly expensive bit of kit to leave on a coat peg.

Totally agree and you sent me on a quest to find one myself, only to be reminded of a nearly 40 year old sheepskin languishing in the wardrobe. As you say bleeding expensive and heavy too, but perfect for buggering about with the roof down in the winter months. Top hole chaps!

Canada Goose might be over budget but are great performers.

I have a Rab down jacket and it's VERY warm in the cold weather and quite comfy in milder temps.
