Put some ‘kin effort in...!!!!

If getting called buddy gets you fuming you would have had a heart attack if you had heard what a mate of mine got off a car salesman.
Years and years ago my mate who was a manager in the council had a Punto that he bought just to get about in. Hes not at all into cars.
He had bought it from the local Vardys and had it around 3 years when he enquired about trading it in for something else.
The salesman asked what he had in mind and my mate said something sporty like an MGF.
The salesman then proceeded to tell him that he had delusions of grandeur before putting the phone down on him.

They think sat in front of a computer playing with paperclips all day creating work that isn't needed is a hard day's work . Put them in the steelworks in the late 70s and early 80s......then they'd know about it 😡😡 I'm going to have a lie down now

I think most dealers are blesses with such issues. For me in recent months:

For my F Type a dealer called and told me my service was due. Advised her it had been completed locally last month. She then went on rambling about the price they offer and being a diesel it would be the same price. Diesel F type?? Asked why she's telling me the prices after it's been serviced was responded to by 'for next year'... OK so if I book in is now for 2019 is that the price 'no - it will likely be more'...

Landrover - when entering dealers I was asked if I wanted new or used. Don't know yet until I see them, prices and compare. Told I had to specify as sales team are only allowed to discuss their respective area, so would I like a coffee and when I had decided she's get the sales person to meet me. Very helpful so I said new, declined the drink, looked and then went and purchased dealer demo elsewhere a week later..
