What? A non S Boxster is better than one of the finest examples of our beloved Z available. Did she get above 3000?
Guess it is bombproof compared to some 987 Boxster engines 😁

The £8K comment made me laugh. Maybe a Cat D with 120k miles.

What a mismatch of different engines. Could they not get models that matched up on paper . Eg SLK55/Z4M/Coxster S or SLK350/ Z4 3.0/ Coxster.

Yeah that was a slightly bizzare comparison as a standard Z4 3.0 could be had for less than 8k . I'd love to know if the owner of the z4m would sell for £8000 lol

I quite like it, better to have it on than nothing car related at all.

Oh don't get me wrong I really like the show it's probably my favourite car show as it's more realistic attainable cars.

The content on the show doesn't quite sit right for me. It's not a show dedicated to enthusiasts (we're all probably sitting there going that is wrong and this is sh*t) and yet not a show for the mainstream (Top Gear). These are all veteran car journalists and should know way more than we all do around the car market, that segment was just lazy TV production. It doesn't really know what it wants to be.

If poor old D4Dawg's car is worth just £8k then the rest of us are f*cked...

Maybe she's in the market for one on the sly and she's trying to drive prices down seeing as fifth gear doesn't pay the presenters as well as it used to ? :D

I like this show as its more about the cars and not the presenters egos. Top gear lost it when it became about the three stooges. I like that they do used cars also.

I like the program but there is some balls talked..

I like how Jimmy Deville could fit and set up 4 coilovers on an MX5 in "a couple of hours"..

Yes, that's exactly what I thought too. :headbang:

It is about cars, but I record it so I can skip the adverts and nonsense like the Ronnie O'Sullivan review of a Nissan Leaf, track tests of SUV's, etc.!

Any why on earth did Jimmy bother putting an LSD into a 1.9 litre Z3? Wny not find a 2.8?
Coupes because stunning!

Thanks for the link DPG, just watched it online. Biggest shock - Jason Plato, when did he turn so old :o
Very odd comparisons, I mean why have a meagre 160 bhp SLK in the line up?
The 8k price shows they hadn't done their homework on the Z4M, great to see such a beautiful example though
