This company was at Goodwoood FOS last year. Spent 30 minutes or so chatting the the owner and his colleague. Really interesting and useable cars.

Although I think what they're doing is really interesting from a technical pov, certainly the styling aspect with the jaguar and fitting computer screens in the middle and as binnacles is very ugly and out of place.
I'm not keen on digital binnacles anyway (I think a car maker can make analog dials a nice styling point, crafting it with nice materials, the same way an analog watch can be a thing of beauty) and certainly not in a classic car.

It just seems a waste of a classic car IMHO, although I do appreciate it from a technical point of view.

Soulless, but the upsides are stopping the usual quart of oil on the garage carpet, no manky Jag gearbox to negotiate and you now have a good chance of getting home at the end of a day out
Any guesstimates on the cost? probably £

it’s the sound & smell of our octane burners that give them real soul.
I just feel an electric pacemaker will keep it moving, but will be dead emotionally inside.

I love driving my wife's i3, I'd be very happy with an electric Z4.
It makes a nice "whee" sound on hard acceleration and my Z4 struggles to keep up with it without going at license losing speeds. An electric E Type would be awesome.

I get all the pros but every time I read another article on electric cars I die a little inside.
Nothings going to stop the revolution though, at least this ones got a little bit of character I suppose and maybe a sign that we’ll be able to convert our zeds one day if we are forced to
