Fk it.
Fk working today in its ear! That's what I thought when I woke up this morning!

So I slapped on some suncream, snapped on me bibshorts and shot out into the sun on me bike! Bliss.

Rang my good ladyfriend laura and suggested biking down to the beach. 'what a fabulous idea!' she said. So one detour via Nieuw Vennep and it was off to Noordwijk beach!

I used to feel guilty about taking impromptu days off from the business but lifes for living and i may not get these opportunities again!

Agree? Or am i a sagging b@stard?

You only have one shot at life. There is no rehearsal. It is a matter of priorities and too often we get sucked into the work ethic so that everything else takes second place. You did the right thing to kick it into touch for a little while.

I've been retired 6 years and apart from a little consultancy work now and again free to do as I like, which is what I do. My wife and I take off for a few days every few weeks as the mood takes us.

Last night I had this horrible dream where I was working again, full time. Woke up in a cold sweat, can't stop recalling it, nightmare.
