There’s plenty of things I regret,
Many years ago I was in a local village pub, it was a hot evening and a fella who looked a bit down on his luck came in and asked for a glass of tap water - the land lord ushered him out - saying no no no we are a public house who sells drinks!!!
I was somewhat taken aback as it all seemed to happen so quickly- to this day I still regret not saying “ I’ll buy the fellas drink”

drilling out a tensioning bolt from an mg altenator I made the executive decision to steady said alternator using my foot.

Alternator tensioning bolts are quite hard. So when I decided to apply more pressure, the drill simply slipped off the alternator...
