Crazy good news. Bet you sometimes heard stories like that but never thought it’d happen to you!

That's a great read, and well done you, not only for pulling through but for believing in alternative medicine.

So much can be healed this way and sadly we are conditioned and pushed into going down the medication route - courtesy of the big multi-national pharmaceutical companies.

Fantastic new John. I'm really pleased for you, (especially now you can get to the bar quicker at Zedfest !)

All alternatives are worth a shot.
When my lads legs stopped working at 12, we tried various alternative therapies and in the end I'm convinced it was the swimming that eventually kick-started the brain back into using the legs again. (literally sink or swim !)

He spent 9 months paralysed in a wheelchair until he woke one morning and it all worked properly again. He's now 17, built like a brick $hithouse and playing County football.

The moral is try anything, you've nothing to lose and don't give up.

I knew he was in a chair Alan but I didn’t know he’d recovered! That’s utterly fantastic for him and his family!! I’m so glad to hear that..!!

The physio that cured me went into it a little, in a nutshell, if the limb, organ, skin etc, isn’t physically damaged, ie, broken arm etc, and it has blood and oxygen to it, then it’s the brain that has stopped it working. If you go to hospital with Phrenic nerve paralysis like mine they try to treat the nerve, but they can’t as they can’t get to it with it being so close to the superior vena cava, plus they don’t know how it got damaged, well there’s your problem, it didn’t get damaged, the heart surgeon never got near it, they say there’s no treatment, hard luck pal. This guy goes to the brain first and kicks it up the arse basically. It’s the same with your son, unless his nerves were damaged or severed in an accident, then it’s the brain at fault and you just need a guy to pin point the right nerve path to reset the brain. Nothing wrong with his legs, he was paralysed simply because the brain had got into a pickle for whatever reason.

So pleased to hear he’s ok.

Makes you wonder why the NH could not have tried the same procedure .
This is the frustrating and quite frankly worrying thing Maxman. I don’t yet know enough about why but I intend to find out because ignoring alternative treatment is to our detriment. So far all I can get is the NHS doesn’t recognise it so ignores it, which makes no sense to me. As Mr Tourette quite rightly points out there are sharks making money but the guy I saw has a doctorate from the UK but uses eastern medicine as well. We should have strict tight guidelines as we do but closing ourselves off to proven alternative treatments definitely causes patients to be denied a cure they won’t get.
