Scottish car show

Post by Nictrix » Sun Jul 15, 2018 6:58 pm

Went to Ingliston today to have a look around the Scottish car show.
I left feeling really disappointed and felt I could have seen better cars in the car park.
It seemed to be 75% Ford STs, Seats and Subarus with the odd 1980s cars thrown in.
Best group there was the MR2 squad and it was good to see the American muscle cars, although there were not many.
A lot of the cars I would have been embarrassed to have on show as they were dented, scraped and dirty
Is this really what people think is good enough for a car show? Or are my expectations too high?
It kinda takes me back to when I gave up going to the Scottish motorcycle show when it ended up just as bad.

Food was crap too. :(

Scottish car show

Well the Scottish car show is on again this weekend at Ingliston.
Just a heads up that you will be wasting your money if its anything like last years.
Price is £24 per adult plus parking charge which I think was £5 last year. :o what a rip off.
Save your cash and go and walk round your local Arnold Clarks forecourt or shopping mall.

Once bitten!
You don't stop playing when you get old - You get old when you stop playing!
So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with.
