Nice one Rob. It's a win win exercise and weight loss. The more weight that comes off the easier the exercise becomes.

Since I had to give up the surfing and took up hill walking I too have gradualy shed a few pounds, happily without changing my diet at all. Down to 16 stone now from 17.5 and hoping for another few pounds yet before I head off up Scafell with my son in Sept.

Keep it going :)

Thanks, I’m 5”11’ tall but have a stocky build (bear like)
I’ve cut out a fair bit of beer (gallons) and stopped filling myself up with takeaways & cheese (tons)
Not eaten any crisps or chocolate since January which has taken a considerable amount of will power.
Ann does lots more cooking instead of buying ready meals.
I’ve got used to it and it’s nice to be in 34’ jeans instead of 42’!
Go for plenty of long walks/rambles which has been a hobby of ours for a while now, that’s about it as far as exercise goes, I’m planning on a lot more cycling once we’ve moved to quieter roads
Rob
That's a brilliant result Rob and glad your determination has paid off. I'm sure you've come so far now you'll finish the job.
I think you may well have just inspired me!

Good work mate .... I did something similar a few years ago, weight had got to 18st ... last two years been happily operating at 14 1/2 st, could go lighter but can't be faffed with the extra discipline required ....
