Likely to be driving over the Woodhead Pass this weekend (sun out, roof down, there is no way I'm taking the M62!)
Can anyone recommend any good locations to stop on the way for some scenic photos of the Zed?

I've done Woodhead twice at the start of the month - both times I've queued about 40 mins to get through Tintwhistle and Hollingsworth west bound and eastbound barely made it out of third travelling east the first time in the Zed. Didn't bother the second time in a luton van I went further south through the peak district.
How about traveling north of the M62 - some great roads or even the Snake but the end of the motorway to the Glossop turn has been standing traffic both week days and weekends. Good luck!

Traffic is bad upto the woodhead around peak times...
Weekends can be bad as we get all the outsiders wanting to explore "the gateway to the peaks"....lol..
Go early or 7pm+ and have a good time, you can get to Strines and Midhopestones and it will take you over to the Snake at Ladybower if your thinking of a bit of an adventure.
