The serial number is on the back of the watch, and if you phone tag they will tell you if its genuine,
I take its second hand? are you looking at purchasing it and if so how much for?

Hi,

The receipt (2015) is original purchase date, the 2017 card is for a service I would say.

On there is a watch ref - RJZ0461 - this could be a serial number or a model but I do not recall seeing any TAG with that as a model so I reckon it is the serial...

Your pic shows the RZJ0461 (possibly as serial) and the model is on there too WAY111Y.

For Tag I would not want to pay more than 50% of RRP for a used model.

You are close enough to nip to the TAG outlet at Cheshire Oaks and see what they have....

Think I looked at your Z a couple of years ago? Mickle Trafford?

thanks for the advice - I know nothing about watches other than I've always fancied a 'brand'. Usually have Seiko or similar bought new every few years. Cant justify spending a couple of grand so thought a SH may be worth a pop.

will check out Cheshire Oaks, thanks

Yep - that's me!

The CO store has a range in at good prices and they are obviously covered by a new warranty too - might be best to see what is there for maybe a hundred pound or so more before you finally decide.

Good luck, come back and show us what you bought!
