Apparently no one needs to watch the World Cup, after scraping a win last night the Tournament is already in the bag  :wkr:

Haven't seen anyone with an ounce of sense saying anything like that... have you been reading the red-tops...?

More of an inference from the sort of chat the media are partaking in rather than an actual statement :P

I popped to Tesco last night about 7ish, and couldn't work out why the car park was completely empty! Never seen it like that before, apart from when it was closed. I wondered if something was wrong there, like they've had to evacuate for some reason, but then it dawned on me that there was a footie match on. Not sure how the two match up - I guess if the footie isn't on, there's nothing else to do but to go to Tesco???

Lucky I don't have a roadster, or I'd have lost it all a long time ago.

I'm a contractor (within IR35), on a day rate, so no work = no pay, and I've got a few expensive bits for the car in progress, so don't want to upset the apple-cart.

Although one or two of my (staff) colleagues are starting to come under the same pressure from the same arsehole. Unfortunately his boss doesn't seem to want to do anything about it, despite getting the same feedback from a few people...and one contractor has already left (standard terms are 1 weeks notice. so that's all he gave them - and they haven't replaced him after 3 months).
