I’m done

I worked until the day before I turned 70. Still enjoyed the job, but the commuting was driving me crazy, as it took longer every year. I retired in September of 2010 and have never regretted it. We took the Miata to a local provincial park today so we could get our daily two mile walk done there.

I was lucky enough to get early retirement at 54. It's good to be able to do things when it suits you, not because you have a spare half hour before doing something else. You can make your own timetable and forget about deadlines.
Enjoy your retirement.
