MrsG and I took the Zed up to the North Coast on Monday. What a glorious day for driving top down and enjoying a stretch of the old legs on the SW coast path.

And after a 9 mile walk, the ever faithful Zed was there, glinting in the evening sun light, ready to speed us safely home for a tasty Chinese take away supper. :D

Very envious. We go to north Cornwall every year in October, usually staying at either Trevone or St Ives. It really is beautiful, especially when the sun comes out.

I hope, that you realise how lucky you are to have that on your doorstep - I think you do!

Being an out lander, who has been fortunate enough to circumnavigate the world. The only other place I found where I would like to live, with my family, was on the coast out side Sydney. So yup we does no how lucky I'z is. :D

There is a wicked rip at Trevone. Not somewhere I used to surf much. I lost a fin there one day. Took me an hour to paddle in against the rip. I used to prefer the Reef at Constantine if I was in that area. So much choice for surfing is one thing that makes it such a great place to surf. No need to see a sole out there, if you know where to head on a good day.

Thanks we're keeping the weather for a little while. :P It's been a good week here. The rain has been at night thankfully. Been out in the MR and walking again all day today, lovely cool sunny weather, though it's clouding over now. :D

Must go wash the Zed. :driving:

Nice pics buzy lar.
reminds me of a misspent youth and quite a few adventurous summers when me and a few scallies from round my way would venture down to Newquay, Bude, etc in my T2 for the surfing, birds and beer at the Sailors Arms. We used to rent this outhouse at a farm in Week St. Mary for buttons then razz down to the beach early in the morning before the masses thronged.

We used to laff at the born-again surfers in all their shiny new gear just paddling/posing while we would be cutting through them. Me with my tatty old half-suit and oldskool Fish twin. We'd laff cos invariably one or more of the posers would end up being stretchered off the beach with a slipped disc or summat. Happy days

I'd love to get back round there at some point.....
