Hopefully it will be rebuilt - and the opportunity taken to improve both the food and facilities to match the stunning views.

Had a run to Hartside as an antidote to a wedding that was going on last Saturday ........... still a fantastic road but I thought it would be quiet but no a few people still there on bikes n cars . I felt really sad though to see the café still a shell , but the views are still stunning and like I said the road still great, I did it twice as my favoured route back was going to be from Alston to High Force and beyond but the road was closed :) :driving: :thumbsup:

I’ve been up to Hartside today and it’s still a shell - there’s a Chuck waggon outside!
