I have a great book called "Into the Red", co-written by Nick Mason and Mark Hayles. It is a review of testing a large selection of Mason's car collection on the track. Apparently he takes the original engine out to race it, puts a race Ferrari engine in, then puts the original lump back in after the weekend for show purposes, no matter how long it is between outings. He’s fairly dedicated to the cause....
Mason initially used his 250 GTO for the school run and was surprised when someone told him that it would be worth £5 million.
That was a few years' ago - turned out to be a good investment!

Ok potholes, speed bumps and ants crossing the road may be an issue, but in my perfect world where i own one of these, the roads are amazing too
