Bit late. He kicked it at the end of last month but I havent been around here much so I thought I'd drop it in.
Anyone else a fan?
Saw The Fall quite a few times over the years. First gig was Liverpool Royal Court around the time of Curious Orange. 17 and stoned off my tits but remember bein in the front row with a few mates and havin a fantastic vantage point of being able to see up Brix's dress. Lolzers!
Then being sucked into the melee of the moshpit and losing a shoe while bouncin around to 'Guest Informant' hahhaaaaaa. happy days!
Not everyone's cup of tea I imagine but for me, 'kin legendary.

RIP u drunken bastrid.

Rob
I did Rob, amazingly. waited til the place started to clear and went a-huntin. seem to remember coming across a complete untouched 6-pack of red stripe crucial brew underneath a discarded jumper too. silver linings.
That shoe could probably have walked home by itself however

Red Stripe Crucial Brew , now there's a blast from the past. I used to go to lots of 'Blues' as they were known in the mid eighties. They always seemed to be in L8 , a particularly errrr interesting part of Liverpool in those days. The weapon of choice was always CB. Ahhh happy days :D

Oh yeh mixin it wid de Rastas It was, brilliant time :-) I used to play harp (harmonca) in a Jamaican blues/ska band so I sort of had a passport. Jermyn St and Smithdown Road were like the Wild West in those days. A taxi driver once refused to take me to the Ebo Club as he was convinced that I would be murdered there LOL
