That time of year again peeps and looking around.. Currently multi-car with CK but having to break that after my mum got her EV as they were over £100 dearer than elsewhere so looking early to avoid getting screwed..

Tried all the obvious ones:
Confused - Admiral cheapest
Comparethemarket - Admiral cheapest
Gocompare - Admiral cheapest
Uswitch - Admiral cheapest
MoneySupermarket - Admiral cheapest
Direct Line
LV
Hastings Direct
Adrian Flux
Onecalldirect - Admiral cheapest
Chris Knott are my current broker. Im 33 so saga / more mature cover is out. Anyone else I should be looking at?

I went with Admiral for my multi-car cover as they were asking the same for 2 cars that I was being quoted for just the Zed from others.

Just renewed with Admiral been with them for a good few years now they always match or beat all other quotes I get as for CK they are always way off any other quotes I get and Saga are not cheap by the way even for an old fart like me.

Insurance pricing is a strange thing; I've been covered by either Admiral or Elephant (same company) for most of the 23 years I've had my own policy as they've always been cheapest or near enough to the cheapest that it wasn't worth changing. Thankfully I've never had to make a claim so I can't comment on how good they are to deal with in that situation!

A good tip when searching for car insurance is to clear your cookies in-between searches. Going back to the comparison sites they look to see if you've been before and will maybe put the price up.
My quotes so far are between 288 and 1299
3.0si roadster. Requisite stubby. Sound gen mod. LED numberplate lights. LED boot strip. Interior lights LED too. ZHP gearknob. Daily drive :driving:
Motor in boot. Bilstein B8 dampers. New radio, much better sounds

We have 2 cars,z with Saga and our Rav4 with LV. In the past we have had three claims with LV,one of these was for a house break in.In all cases you could not fault them. They weren't the cheapest ,when all things taken into account they weren't far off the mark.

We have multi car with Admiral as have been the best quotes. We have had to claim, as no fault with them, a few times and each time have been very easy to deal with. Only issue was the guy that hit my wifes car in a car park who was claiming he didn't when an off duty copper witnessed it lol, eventually his insurance caved when they saw the police report

Admiral/Elephant for the past 13+ years, always cheapest, have had claims in the past before without issues.

Try Aviva.

I've flipped between Admiral and Aviva as they usually come out the cheapest from a well known company.
