Panic buying fuel again
I think that this thread will die out quite quickly because if they haven't already, everyone will join a petrol queue and complain about everyone else in the queue causing them to queue.
I don't care what you say, I won't agree with your view.

Not me. I refuse to do what you say above, as that would be hypocritical. I would rather stay at home. The Zed is on fumes but it's gone back in the garage and the wife's work car uses about a teaspoon a week!
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

The media are 110% to blame , the absolute s**t they serve up as news should be read as a comic and nothing more.
Unfortunately the general public are hung up on their every word, hence PANIC !!!!!!
Is it just me, or does anyone else got the ‘sinking ship feeling ‘
Majority of uk are utterly selfish it seems to me.

Just been down to fill up the wifes corsa ready for work tomorrow, station has a very sensible ( i know not for all but most will manage) 30 quid limit, lots of pumps out of use but i was able to drive straight up it being 7.30am on a Sunday, young girl in there said it was mental yesterday and lots of rude and aggressive customers, said it got quite nasty at times.. the f**k is wrong with people

Panic buying fuel again
I fill up every Sunday or Monday morning for my 500 mile a week commute (inc return) at my local Morrisons. TBF yesterday was no different to a "busy" day, But loads of people were just blocking the entrance road as they were waiting for one (of 3 ) lines of pumps. So I just pulled round the back of them, and go to an empty one. Fortunately, no reports of chopper customers form the staff (I have gotten to know them well) but one chap did drive off without paying.

All upset at having to queue no doubt. Too stupid to realise they are part of the reason why they and everyone else has to queue. You can't educate porkmr.tourette wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 8:10 am young girl in there said it was mental yesterday and lots of rude and aggressive customers, said it got quite nasty at times.. the f**k is wrong with people

Panic buying fuel again
So what’s the plan Boris, we’re going to give temporary visa’s to get more truckers in? The RHA have banging on your door for months saying we need a 100,000 drivers or things will start to fall apart.
Now that we are seeing the fruits of a labour shortage due to the end of our unrestricted travel within Europe, the answer is to have a short term visa, yeah that’s really going to entice them in Boris, good plan
Yes, please come here for six months to help us out, though you’ll have to fill out all these forms that discourage people getting here and in January you can all f&*k off back to Europe, yep great plan indeed Boris.
For the respondents who will ask, why has it taken so long to manifest, can’t be because of Brexit, for fuel we spent the first six months of the year in lockdown, with fuel usage obviously curtailed, over the last few months you can now see that the volume of traffic on the roads has increased and is similar to a pre COVID level. The tanker delivery drivers have been losing the battle to keep up with the increased demand and it isn’t going to get better anytime soon.
You cannot blame people for panic buying, yes the press certainly haven’t helped, but the underlying trend was that delays in deliveries of fuel had begun to be noticed in sufficient regularity to make it news worthy. That’s the smoking gun and it is a direct result of this Governments policy of restricting the movement of people as voted for by the leavers and reaffirmed by a landslide victory at the last election.
You reap what you sow. we certainly have less immigrants now that’s for sure and unless we can entice more British people to work and to make it easier to get work, we’re screwed
