Well I did SORN the car last night sadly :| I can re tax it at anytime and its going to put money into better things ( not sure there are better things than driving the Zed ?) If it sits for a couple of months before things ease up, rather I kept the money than watch it tick away in the DVLA's bank.
Its a wacky time for all and having 3 cars to use, seems one has to hide for now.
Thinking of what it needs done and to be honest other than a replacement front ARB , was basically all together for this years motoring :driving:

I've just checked my car on the system, the MOT that was due on the 3rd of April has already been extended to October and they are working through them in date order. So, some good news amongst the gloom then :)

Our 5 series was due on 30th March and we only realised last week! - managed to get a test for 9th April but the garage has now closed and moved the test into May.

Kept checking the date on the Gov MOT checker and even yesterday it still said 30/3 - unless you went from the Covid - 19 information page where it then showed 30/9. I guess that the web site is starting to catch up now. I'll still take the car for test in May (assuming they are open) imagine how many cars are going to need testing in the autumn - unless they add six months to everyone for a year.

The Caterham is due later this month but now I can run it all summer (assuming again) then sorn it when it becomes ready for test in late September - so a bonus year here
