I'm assuming that those figures don't inlcude fleet vehicles? Surely most of them would be white, thus putting it at No.1?
And I see black is only 0.2% behind grey

Regarding fleet. I imagine the clue would be if there was CHOICE.
If you ever think I'm off my rocker.. Just put me back in it and walk away... It's the kindest thing

Nothing like the late 60's early 70's colours - paint it your self gloss from the hardware shop or black. In the late 70's I had a mk2 Cortina which was 'Saluki Bronze' and not so long afterwards a VW Beetle in 'Harvest Gold'. Think everybody is too worried about resale value now to go for brave colours! .... as if I bought those cars based on colour though - they were all I could afford

I've had...
blue 35%
black 28%
grey 21%
silver 7%
green 7%
given the choice, I'd have a bmw sepang, estoril or le mans blue... although if I ever get a supercar, I'd go lime green.
I don't think I've ever considered resale value as a reason to pick a colour, but I've always owned cars outright.

I've never bought a new car, so my colour choice has always been limited by what is around.
But thankfully I've managed to avoid grey so far - that is such a miserable choice IMHO!
Mind you I have owned silver cars for a total of 12+ years, and metallic black for 8+ years. I much prefer a proper colour like blue (6+ years) or red (5+).
For horrible colours I don't think you can do better than early 70s BL colours - they used to do dark blue Marinas with red trim and khaki green ones with tan trim, and yet people actually bought them!
I did own a 1973 Rover P6B in Mexico Brown - but other offerings included Tobacco Leaf, Almond Brown and April Yellow. Just minging!

Stratus Grey was discontinued, but is now available as a BMW Individual Colour at an additional cost of £4,835 on a 5 series car including an M5. Unbelievable!
I used to have two boys and a girl. Now I have two Men and a Woman.
