White E89 with new black 'boots'!

Post by Reevsie » Tue May 01, 2012 10:36 pm

After taking delivery of my new Alufelgen CS7's black rims last week, the next task was to choose the right tyres!

I read through loads of forums and online reviews and decided on VReds - this is the result of my latest mod.....

Whilst waiting for the rims to arrive I popped down to my local 'tinting' company who blacked out the rear window and 'carbon wrapped' the wing mirrors.

I have the black grilles in the boot and will get them fitted when she goes in for a service next week.

Maybe one or two more 'wraps' then I am done.

Hopefully see some of you at ZedFest in July....... :driving:

Your wing mirrors look awesome! How much did you pay for them to be wrapped and what wrap did they use?

Tom, thanks for the comment -

The mirrors were £50 ea (+VAT) and I think the material they used was '3M Di-Noc', if that helps. (Guaranteed for as long as you own the car!)

Thinking of getting the rear boot light cover wrapped as well a the rear bumper under the number plate - probably in a couple of months. Give me time to enjoy these 1st.

Now its time for a drop, as white car+black wheels makes the arch gap look even larger...

Maniac - you are not wrong, although this picture was taken directly after the car had been jacked up for the wheel change - has settled a little lower now but that is my next project.
