mv2

Post by Robbo18 » Mon Apr 23, 2012 7:00 am

Hi all got the chance of some mv2s off an e46, really like to know if they will fit, if anyone on the forum can help that would be great. The wheels are in need off refurb but for £100 for the 4 it might be worth it. Cheers.

The MV2 was the standard fit for the e85/e86 MSport variant

The other thing to check is that they're staggered fit, ie they should be wider on the back wheels than the front. This means it's easier to keep OEM tyre sizes etc

The offset for the MV2 only changes with width so 8.0 is 47 (front) and 8.5 is 50 (rear) and this is the correct offset for the e85/e86

If you go for a non staggered set up then you need 225/40/18 on an 18 x 8" ET47

E46 and E85 use the same alloys, fitments and offsets. I know as I own an E46 and an E85 and they have been swapped on an irregular basis.

The E60 uses 8.0j wheels all round.
