How do you clean yours?
Hi guys- can any one advise on best way to cleans the 'bolts and bolt-holes' on my split rims- 108's. The bolts are stainless but they seem to be crap-traps for all the road muck and brake dust! (I did sort of expect this a little)
I'm currently using a paint brush that I 'wiggle' around in there but noticed many of the 'wheel- clean' products say not for use on split rims.

Don't have 108's - have Dynamics and they are a pain to keep clean. I use Bilberry and a wheel brush, agitate, rinse and all clean. I also use Rimwax (few coats applied at least once a year, usually in spring and autumn) as it keeps brake dust from bonding to the wheel

Old toothbrush - the bristles get right inside the hole and down the sides. I use PH neutral wheel cleaner too.

I must be lazy as I just use the Karcher held at a reasonable distance.
This takes most of the crap off ready for a quick once over with a cloth

However, once my new 108s arrive I will be turning over a new leaf. Poorboys wheel sealant and brush will be bought. I have Turtle Wax Platinum Wheel Cleaner, which gets rid of most muck. Only thing is, you need to re-seal your wheels after use to stop more muck sticking to the wheels

Most of you are missing the point
It's the small screws that hold the two parts together the OP is talking about.
I used one of these when I had my 108's

You can get the Pro Detailer version at Halfords for £14.99. You can get additional brushes as well.

Re: How do you clean yours?
I found the oral b vitality toothbrush was perfect for the job. A bit expensive perhaps of you were to buy a new one but if you can get your hands on an unused one they're perfect.
I can also recommend Bilberry Wheel Cleaner. I just bought some more from cleanyourcar.com
