Changed the wheels and tyres!- thanks for the advice.

Post by WizzEssex » Mon Mar 12, 2012 10:06 am

Hi all- Thanks to the people who offered advice on my wheel and tyre changes! Now replaced the 16" wheels/Bridgestone RFT's - I have fitted 18" 180 split rims- and Pirelli P Zero Rosso tyres........

The difference is just staggering!!- better ride comfort- lighter and more precise steering- no 'skipping' over lumps and bumps - and (though I still expect to get some) - 'tramlining' is not noticeable so far!!
p.s. looks much better also!

Thanks again guys!

Wayne

Thanks Sars- but basically simply saying thanks to the people who offered advice - not sure who would want to see yet another pic of a stock Z4 with 180's - but happy to post some pics if they are :-)

Wayne,
Very interesting as I'm in exactly the same position with 16ins with rft's and yes looking to change to 108's

Long time coming - but for 'sars' and other 'wheelies' here is my car with the new 1o8's - (not180's :) they have been refurbed - all same colour (not original polished outer rim) - but I think they look OK and will maybe last a while! Have included pic with original 16" wheel for comparison.
