Eagle F1s gone? Vreds - Load factors?

Post by miln0039 » Fri Mar 02, 2012 1:42 pm

Newbie question alert...

Considering getting new tyres to replace the assortment of tyres currently on the Z4 Coupe I just bought as it's a bit unbalanced which I assume to be due to the different brands / different wear on each corner!

I wanted Eagle F1 Asymetric 2s, but these don't seem to be avaialble for the Z4 Coupe rears at 255/35/R18s? Anybody know otherwise?

Also - I know the standard load factors are 88 at the front and 90 at the rear, the Vredesteins on Camskills look to be 92 at the front and 94 at the back - reinforced too.

Will this be okay or should I be looking for other tyres? If okay, any specific allowances I should be making?

Cheers,
Alex

Do you mean they're unavailable to buy or do you mean that you've been told they're not made in that size? Mytyres.com is showing them freely available in 255/35/18.

I got my F1 A-2's from Mytyres and had them fitted locally - I used to have their predecessors on my old Evo and now have them all round on the Si. Great tyres and amazing levels of grip! :)
