An offset of 38 front 42 rear in 19" wheels does that sound right.
8.5" front and 9.5" rear

Re: Offset
I have VMR V710's in 19x8.5 ET35 Front and 19x9.5 ET45
and Aquazzi has them in
front 19x8.5et40, rear: 19x9.5 et45
So seeing as you are right slap bang in the middle I don't think it would be a problem.
Are you thinking of changing the LM's if so what are you thinking of getting or are you just double checking.

Re: Offset
I'm running ET 38 front and rear, and that's on 8.5 & 9.5 (19"). All is fine except for a little bit of rubbing on full lock. Anymore and they'd possibly be sticking out beyond the body and an MOT fail.
