Hi all

Got muself some 16" alloys (225/50R16) and now looking to put some snow tyres on them. Live in the north wales mountains so this is a must as I found out this morning fish tailing up the s bends.
Considering the GOODYEAREAGLE ULTRA GRIP GW-3 MS speed: 92H RUNFLAT
Can get them from tyre traders for just under £150 each

looking for opinions from my knowlegeable chums on the forum :)

Isn't the GW3 a runflat tyre?

You can get non-runflat Michelin Ultragrip from Mytyres for £136 each or there's Nokians for £128, Kumhos for £90 and Hankooks for £95.

Of course you'd have to factor in delivery, fitting, etc. to these prices if the Tyretrader price is all-inclusive.

I got a full set of Michelin Alpine tyres on eBay. Second hand, but 7-8mm tread so pretty much unused for £300
