Wheel sizes
what difference do wheel sizes make to the handling, performance, etc of a Zed and what do people think are the best sizes and why?

Generally, the larger the wheel the heavier it will be (although not true in all circumstances) which increases unsprung weight and decreases performance.
18s for me are probably the best compromise between looking good and not weighting too much / being too expensive to replace with tyres / etc.

I agree that 18s are the best compromise between style and function.
Anything smaller than 17s don't fill the arches enough IMO, however lowering can help reduce any visible gaps.
Bigger wheels tend to we wider, which can aid cornering grip...
