Turns out the tyre shop had filled mine to 35.5/38.5...!
Have reduced to 30/32 - went for a 20 min buzz around town and countryside, seems very different, maybe almost a little too soft (can't believe I'm saying that!). Will try 32/34 at the weekend.

Just to follow up on this, the 30/32 on the Falkens is great - car sits nicely, responds well, lots of grip and very little tram lining.
