Am I alone in thinking a darker-coloured car looks best with some contrast to the colour of the alloys? i.e. silver wheels on a darker/grey car?

Saying that, since you've got a spare set and are looking to do something different, I'd vote for a shadow chrome effect. Certainly the best alternative to silver posted so far IMO.

I'm watching this thread with interest. I've been considering the smoked chrome finish for my scabby 107's for some time, but I've not been brave enough to do it without seeing an example first.
Ranski, where are you getting them done?

I hope that you post the pictures up as soon as possible after collection. Mrs H has been asking what I want for Christmas.....a wheel refurb might be better than a bottle of aftershave and a pair of novelty socks

Well they are fitted and I think i like them - Some before and afters (although the afters have some grease on the tyres)

Thanks Ranski, that would be a result. I'll PM you my email address later

I travel up to Birmingham quite regularly for work, so I can drop the wheels off at Erdington no problems.
The online quote system is coming out at £329.00 for the smoked chrome + the cost of removal and replacing the tyres?
