Gentlemen,
car: e89 lowered
rear wheels: 9,5x18 ET 33 (agressive, I prefer them) or 9,5x18 ET 45 (safe?) 265/35 tyre option. 9,5x19 ET 35 is a standard on zroadster as I read: https://www.zroadster.com/forum/threads ... 742/page-1
For reference, here is a pic of 10x19 ET 40, which is 0,6 mm less towards wheel arch than 9,5 ET 33. It seems to me that there won't be any rubbing. Looks pretty safe.

on the other hand, here is 9x19 ET 44, which is 17,4 mm less than 9,5 ET 33. Idk about the looks, seems pretty hid to me.

On 18” 8J and 8.5J were the widest OE rims on 19” 8J and 9J were the widest runs fitted all at 29/40mm

I run 8.5J 235/40 18 and 9.5J 265/35 18 with 30/40 offsets on MSport springs

With 35 rear offset I just got rubbing on the RH outer wheel arch liner on very big bumps at very high speed

Can you tell me your tyre brand as far as I know they may differ in width even when we are comparing same sizes...

Goodyear Asy 5

The other issue is mine has fresh M3 version bushes / steering parts so the geometry is spot on..older bushes etc may cause the wheels to ‘topple inwards’ a bit..

Also I have B8 Bilstein dampers which would improve the bump performance..

Ok, thank you. Look at this guys M3/M4 wheels. They are 10x19 ET 40 265/30.
Mine would sit nearly the same, 0,6 mm difference. They look like they fit maybe because of the 265/30 tyre on a 10 rim - streched a bit.

I know people who have done the M3/M4 wheels on 245 and 276 and no issues..maybe I just drive faster over bigger bumps.. :driving:

I lean towards 9,5 ET 45 now, because I can always put 5 or 10 mm spacers.
If I buy 9,5 ET 33 I am done and probably screwed if rubbing occurs.
