Tyre sanity check for 437M NoneRF

Post by step_change » Wed Apr 21, 2021 10:01 pm

BMW original rims 437M soon to be on my 35is.

In the market for 4 brand new Michellin PS - maybe Goodyear F1 - not too sure just yet. 15% off 4 at Kiwk-fit currently. I'll research this more.

Anyway. I am thinking 265/30/19 on the rears so as not to be "over tyred" and 235/35/19 at the front. Inspired by this thread:
https://e89.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1221790

Do those sizes sound about right? I hear 275/35 on the rear is too much and that 255/35 on the front causes rubs. And that much rubber is not so good. What say The Oracle here please? I was thinking maybe 245 on the front too but not so sure. 235/35 is a proven goer.

Thanks!
Gone :( : 2013 35is, Melbourne Red, DCT, Nav, Comfort pack
Gone: 2007 2.5is, Montego Blue, Auto, Nav

That’s the tyre sizes I’m running on my 35iS.

I posted some pictures on the thread to let TB see as he asked a similar question
