Your £60 a corner makes my quote look a bit strong.

i.e. £84 each. I will get some more quotes.

Steve, is that tyres off, back on, balanced etc?
I'm looking to get Vall's done but want to bin the Landsails and put better tyres on at the same time.

Yes that does seem strong but £75 a wheel is normal from other quotes I have had

There is a company in Birmingham called City Wheel Refurbishment. Their charges are very low. They will do split rims for £25 per wheel but you have to split it yourself (I think they are scared of snapping bolts).

I know you generally get what you pay for, but I've used them before and they did a decent job.

Foolish of me I know, but I have sent my crystal ball off for calibration and googling 'a place in Norwich' ain't doing it for me.
Got a website, or at least a business name?
Please? :D

Ah, you are right. I thought I had posted their name. BA wheels. Here is a linky thing....... https://ba-wheels.co.uk/our-services/

I just had another quote for £260 plus VAT which is £312. A bit cheaper but not as cheap as some have said. http://www.swalloys.co.uk/

No problem mate. I know you 35iS boys can be a bit slow to get off the line, so I was happy to wait for you to catch up. :poke: :D
I'll take a look at both those options.

If you se places like the wheel specialist the it can be expensive - 75 to 90 per corner for a refurb, got to find someone local.

https://myalloys.co.uk/

I watched a youtube video of an E86 getting some MV2s refurbed from the above company.

I was very impressed with their process, I would be surprised if they leave the factory looking that good!

If I was local to Hampshire, it would be a no brainer to go here.

Many bodyshops do wheel refurbs and most will supply new tyres too.
As long as they have a machine like this and have a welder:

All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

Wheel refurbishment and painting

Having seen the way Mrs Ming treats the wheels when she's driving I think I'll wait until the day before I sell it to get them done 🙄

Scuff mark on the tyre sidewall and a corresponding mark on the alloy. "Oh yeah, I did go very slowly over a kerb in a narrow cul de sac".
I have tried to explain that turning the wheel so the rubber goes up the kerb at an angle is better than scraping the whole bloody wheel along the edge of the kerb 🤬🤬🤬
I do like to go topless......
