The wheels in the link are not 326Ms, though. They are 437s (I know BMW do like to confuse everything) from the M4 and have diamond cut faces. I am pretty sure you can't diamond cut the faces on the 326s as they are moulded and made of much cheaper materials (I think the 437s are forged). I may be wrong (it has been known)Ming wrote: ↑Mon Apr 12, 2021 5:12 pmThanks for the link. I do think that kind of grey does suit the VO cars. I may well ask about thatArgyll Andy wrote: ↑Mon Apr 12, 2021 4:19 pm TB’s VO looks very well with ferric grey. Would be the colour I’d go for if refurbing

All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

Yeah, I figured they were different wheels as I could make out the diamond cut faces.
It's the grey colour of the rims I'm interested in.

Why not get your refurbers to spray one and see what you think before committing?

I’ve just had mine done in Graphite, they were machined faced originally, paid £72 per wheel

I tried this with the B20 and the paint just looks too dark.Pondrew wrote: ↑Mon Apr 12, 2021 7:59 pm Yep, £65-£75 (plus VAT) a wheel seems to be the average and most will spray them whatever colour you want for that.
If it's any help the 326M wheels factory paint code is B20 (Decor silver II).
I'm going to have a go at doing mine myself with a file, many grades of sandpaper, a kit which Halfrauds sell, some of the B20 mixed paint and some clear gloss lacquer. If I cock it up I will send them to the nearest refurbers.

I may get a couple of cans made up to spray all four complete wheels. It will take some work and time but time I have

They look well, should be more durable to corrosion than a lacquered machined alloy finish to boot

Is that drive in and leave or are you taking the wheels off yourself?

Had mine done a week or so ago (326's), had made my mind up to go for Black then got to the place LSN coatings in Castleford West York's and saw the display samples, went for dark graphite in end, close to black but has a metallic fleck in it when the light shines on them. I was well please £220.00. Dropped them Wednesday got them back Friday ( wheels with tyres) I had a spare set of wheels from a 320D that I stuck on while they were being done.
