Pirelli P-Zeroes

Post by AveZ4coop » Wed Dec 23, 2020 5:57 pm

I have just had a pair of Pireeli P-Zeroes fitted to the rears on my coupe (always had Michelin PS 4's until now). I have to say I am very impressed with the level of grip. Has anyone else on here got experience of the P zeroes? I am wondering mainly about wear as I am more than happy with the traction.

Pirelli P-Zero is a range of tyres...just as Michelin Pilot Sport or Goodyear F1 are.
  • Which specific model of tyre have you fitted?
  • How long have they been on the car?
  • How bad were the tyres you took off?
My mate swears by Pirelli P7000s on his e34 M5, but I hated them. He also swore by Toyos on his R33 GTR until I persuaded him to try the Michelin Supersports (he got twice the mileage and better performance in all conditions including the Ring).

Some bits now over 163,000 miles, some less than 1,000 miles.

Ive had a lot of Pirelli tyres on many different cars , always found them decidedly average especially on warm wet bends  some versions utterly lethal ( Cinturato springs to mind ) however the latest version Pzero PZ4 is impressive , id tick them 10 out of 10 regarding comfort , noise , dry / wet grip , rim protection , longevity i can't comment on :P

I have to agree here, for the best performance "road" tyre you have to be looking at Michelin Pilot Supersports, the MPS4S or the Eagle F1s. I found the Pirelli I experienced reasonable in the dry, fast wearing, not super in the wet and quite loud.
