That’s great that it’s worked out, wheels do look good and the spacers work well far as I can tell from the photo’s. Over in NZ if you put spacers on the car has to be complied which is around $600.minimental wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 9:37 pmThanks, finally managed to go out for a drive today really happy with the ride on the 235's
Anyway, pleased that you are happy with the tyre choice.

I think the bonnet might not be shut properly in the photoPanta Rhei wrote: ↑Mon Dec 14, 2020 12:41 pm @minimental there is something wrong with your good and fender line definitely.

the wheels are et43 all around, 17mm spacer front 14mm rear standard height for now
Ouch! thats a real shame, interesting as the ac schnitzer spacers are tuv approved and often sold with the wheels as part of the package!

If you have 8,5J ET 43 with 17 spacer that means outer rim will poke out 27.4mm.
I cant even imagine rubbing not occuring.
I am lowered, but on 8,0J with ET 37 and mine is rubbing, that's the same as putting 10 mm spacers to oe wheel 8,0 ET 47.

not sure what you mean by the outer rim poking out?Panta Rhei wrote: ↑Mon Dec 14, 2020 2:26 pm If you have 8,5J ET 43 with 17 spacer that means outer rim will poke out 27.4mm.

no rubbing so far, my setup gives a total offset of 26mm therefore equivalent of et31 (rounded) on an 8j wheel, i guess it depends how much you are lowered, i was running 8j et37 before and had plenty of clearance

Yes I guess lowering the car plays a huge role here.
