Got the Aviatics on my E89 now. Looking for a bit of advice on tyres. Current ones are Conti Sport Contact 6s.
Fronts 235/35 R19s
Rears. 265/30 R19s
Rims are quite exposed so looking for some replacements with maximum rim protection.
Wondering too if it would be OK to fit 265/35s to the rears for extra comfort and to help fill the arches?
Any suggestions advice appreciated.

Apologies for not replying to your PM , early starts , long commutes & thought i had
looking at the pics i cant see any reason why you couldn't go 265 35 on the rears , don't suppose you know the rim width ?

Thanks Andy. No worries. I know you have lots of requests for help. The fronts are 8.5 and the rears 9.5. The rims seem particularly exposed at the rear.

You cannot switch just rears with higher profile tyres.
Going 265/35 means you need fronts 235/40, otherwise you have too much difference in cirimference/diameter also. You gain 10 mm ride height on 265/35, also you have smaller wheel arch gap

Here people have no issue with them.
Keep in mind they have OE 326 styling, idk offsets on those wheels of yours.

Thank you for your comments, very helpful. The 230s I have just taken off had 225/40s on the front and 225/35s on the rear and that seemed to work well. The fronts were 8 inches wide and the rears 9 inches. The Aviatics are 81/2 and 91/2.Panta Rhei wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 2:16 pm You cannot switch just rears with higher profile tyres.

Do you think it would be OK to fit the fronts with 235/40s and the rears with 265/35?
