Also a newbie, just wanted to see if there was any csl style or similar wheels in 18 that you would recommend.

Would like to keep away from 19’s if I can as the Z4M ride is hard enough ok 18’s.

Abid
I wouldn’t dismiss 19’s Abid, I put 19” CSL’s on my M and preferred the car to the standard 224 18’s. Felt more stable and flat with no compromise in ride quality. Try a set of 19’s if you can before you buy another set of 18’s.

Hi John,

Would 19 CSL reps be a straight bolt on fit? My car in and lowered.

I would have thought the 19 would be much harsher on the road then the 18’s which is why I was opting for 18 inch wheels.

I will be using the car as a daily to get work driving mainly motorway but a daily 5 hr round trip.

You’re using a lowered M for a 5 hr round trip mainly motorway every day....?? Do you have access to a free fuel tanker topped up every couple of years for nowt and a chiropractor willing to work for the fun of it....?? :o

Depends on the make and offset of the wheels abid, there are a miriad of makes out there.

Bloody typo!

I meant my car isn’t lowered so at standard height would the CSL wheels just bolt straight on?

As for the fuel tanker ....... not just yet but hey you only live once 😁

My car came with 19" CSL Reps that are exactly the same sizes and offsets as OE CSLs and since I got the spacers off they fit just fine!

But I've bought a set of 224s and once I've got them refurbed I think I'll be selling the CSL Reps........possibly.

Has anybody tried 269M performance wheels in 19" form for the E90?
To me the size and offsets would work on an E85/6.....but I could be wrong :|

This setup has exactly the same specs. 225/35 and 255/30. I will try on 10mm spacers both front and rear. Maybe 13mm on the rears.

I am pretty sure you will rub with spacer up front. 10-12 mm is max on front considering stock 8.0 ET 47 wheel.
You have got spacer already 10 mm by putting 8.0 ET 37.
And 10 mm is max on the rears considering your present wheels.
You are lowered.
Here is the result of putting 8,5 ET 35 up front with 225/35 R19 tyres, which is like putting 8 mm spacer on 8.0 ET 37 wheel.
It is basically 18 mm spaced up front compared to OE stock. You just cannot.

I have used 8,5 ET34 with 225/35-19 since 2011 without any issues, so 8" ET 37 with 10mm spacers would be only 1mm more poke.
I have used this setup for years on trackdays.
