Bored of CSL’s....any idea’s...?
Okay so I have 225/40 R18 ET 37 fronts (Eibachs fitted) and I just checked my car in the garage.
There is NO way you can safely push that out 10 mm without rubbing occur. I cannot see that. I am even amazed that I DO NOT have any rubbing on corners, because it looks like it should rub.
Please just show me your tyre in the wheel arch area behind the side bumpler reflector light
Are you sure about your spec? Like 100% sure about the offsets? Tyres? Negative camber?
If you have 8.5 ET 34 that means you are 9,3 mm further away. HOW?!
Your spec vs mine:

Have you an en face photograph of your car to compare with this?
Z4MC - heavily fettled for track use
Lotus Exige - sensible daily driver on the mods slippery slope
Westfield SEiW - in hibernation
Modified RS4 Avant - back in Blighty
S2000 GT - gone

Yes my wheel arch are eaten up because first I had 235/35 Michelin PSS with no negative camber. I have OEM guide supports, but I have pulled the guide pin. So I get a little more negative camber.Panta Rhei wrote: ↑Fri Oct 09, 2020 9:00 pm Okay so I have 225/40 R18 ET 37 fronts (Eibachs fitted) and I just checked my car in the garage.

I have had these wheels since 2011. This is the original spec and were I bought them: http://www.wheeldude.com/catalog/produc ... ts_id=6410
After I got them, all wheels have been machined 4mm to get a higher offset and better fitment for my E86 since they are meant for E9x.
Also my H&Rs are lowering 5mm more than the Eibachs. So they would push the top of the wheels further in.
One last thing, You have 8" with 225 and less stretch on the tire wall.

I want to add something.
This is a photo of @ga41 member who owns Z4 M and has got 12,5 mm spacers on front. He says:

I drive 3.0si roadster with 8.0 ET 37 fronts with 225/40 R18 tyre plus Michelins pilot sports and I have the same issue. The part with red circle is where the tyre scrapes fender. I am on eibachs. This means, and I would never guess, that even 10 mm spacers are too much when you have got eibachs fitted. 5 mm is absolute max. Here's what that pointy edge did to my admittedly wider than normal AD08's after the spacers.

Perhaps you guys can help. I have space grey z4 coupe si and stuck between these 2 similar design rims. A 7 spoke csl type (similar to vmr 710) and a genuine 8 spoke csl type. I keep going back and forth with some people having their pictures show it off better than others. I attached what I thought showed the best comparision.
