Does anyone have floating centre wheel caps fitted and if so how good are they, how much should I pay for them and from where?

I don't have them but came across them today while looking for a replacement standard one. Seemed to be coming up at £70 ish each from BMW and same on other sites for genuine ones

I have managed to resist the urge to buy a set so far but I think a couple of people on here have them, although I'm sure one reported that one of his had fallen out recently!

As far as I know they have only been available from BMW to date, but here's a link:- https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/143189724938?c ... 02a1e6630a

They may be a bit cheaper from Sopers of Lincoln or Cotswold BMW as they give a forum discount.
Coupes because stunning!
Current - Silver Grey MC, Imola Red heated Nappa & carbon trim. Aeros, H & R Coil-overs, 224s, OE Strut brace, Nav, cup-holders, DSP Hi-Fi, pdc, cruise, MFSW, no CDV! E90 330i daily
Gone - Montego Blue
Gone - Ruby Black

That was me that lost one, hit a pot hole hard.

I got a new set from Cotswold BMW via ebay £ 60.--.

I only fitted the one so have 3 spares as the others are still on and spinning good after 2 years.

I noticed the new set were made of a sturdier black plastic much stronger clips. The previous were a grey plastic.
I rate them = Quality. I beleive they were originally made to fit to the 8 Series as standard.
