Anyone else suffered a cracked MV2?

Post by Mr Tidy » Tue Nov 19, 2019 10:06 pm

I'm just curious because I remember Lynchy was looking for a rear wheel recently after one of his cracked on his 3.0Si, and last week my nephew had one of his rear wheels crack on his E46 - which doesn't have runflats!

Luckily he managed to get it welded for £40, but it made me wonder if it is a common issue.
Coupes because stunning!

Apparently one of mine had cracked - was only found after I'd moved them on to a new owner. Bit embarrassing, but no loss of air or obvious buckles etc. I believe it cost £25 to weld.
Now Gone - 2008 Coupe, Montego Blue, Champagne leather and Piano Black interior, Eibachs & Koni Sport shocks, Style 230 19s, Eisenmann Quad - approaching perfection...

I had a cracked one on a e46 m sport quite a few years, it was noticed on a mot and failed.
Cheers Kev.
