So on my way to work yesterday, TPMS warning flashed up, car didn't feel any different so I hoped it was a false alarm, checked the tyres, they all looked perfectly fine. After work checked tyres again, rear right was flat. Found this piece of shrapnel sticking out of it, a 3 month old Michelin PS4
Mechanic drove out and plugged it, but not sure if it'll hold given the size of the puncture...

Grrrr, how annoying. The plugs are great though - I wouldn't have any worries about it holding.

Feel around 30 % of your pain. Got a slow puncture sorted on my little Mazda2 today. £45.

Thanks, that's reassuring. So far it's holding up.

Luckily the plugging was around the same price as your fix! Any more and I'd be tempted to just buy a new one. How was your puncture fixed?

New tyre. The tread was getting low too.
