Hiya
I'm shortly going to be picking up my 04 3.0i and think I have already felt the tramlining on my test drives!
Obviously I'll need to drive the car a fair bit to get used to it, it's my first quick car. (90bhp '15 Corsa right now!).
I noticed the tyres on the car I'm getting are Pozentas on the front and Pilot Sport 3s on the back. Other than that I forgot to properly check sizes and exactly what model they are but I'm assuming RunFlats. I've attached a picture that I took.
Anyway, assuming they're RF what size tyres should I look for? I know they are different fronts and rears.
EDIT! I've just found the sticky post about sizes.
So.... What do I do about tramlining... Wear these tyres out or can it be fixed with suspension bushes a bit?

Tyres for 108's
The OEM sizes for 108s were 225/40 x 18 on the front and 255/35 x 18 on the rear as the rims are staggered (8J on the front and 8.5J on the rear).
If you have Bridgestone Potenzas on the front I would guess they are probably run-flats, but they'll have a marking on them to tell you (RSC I think). I don't know about the Michelin PS3s, but I think they only came as non run-flats so what you have isn't ideal!
Most people on here recommend fitting non run-flats, which often helps cure the tramlining although I haven't done it yet.
I suppose you either put up with it and wear the Potenzas out, or swap them and see how it feels after that before getting too involved in a suspension refresh.

I just managed to find a definitive answer on the PS3s being Run flat or not.... Sadly yes they are, designated by "ZP" on the sidewall.Mr Tidy wrote: ↑Thu Jul 11, 2019 11:14 pm The OEM sizes for 108s were 225/40 x 18 on the front and 255/35 x 18 on the rear as the rims are staggered (8J on the front and 8.5J on the rear).

Looks like I'll have to put up with it for a bit and try and sell the PS3s at least and go for something else if I find the tramlining a big issue.
