Will these wheels fit an e85 z4?
If yes then what would be the best tire combo? :?

Thanks mr wilks. I’ve been wanting to upgrade but will the ride really be stiffer coming from 16in wheels? I know the z4 looks dorky with the 16in oem wheels but the ride is great with it. :D
Will a 17in wheel be a better compromise between ride and looks?

These 17in style 185 looks swell in the z4 too.
If i would go with the 17in wheels...which tire would be better? 225/35 or 225/45?

18's should be fine ride wise, on normal tyres. :)

I can’t imagine how hard the ride would be if you have run flat tires on 18s...

Not quite as hard as RFT's on 19s...

That's why I went back to non-RFT's on 18s on my new zed, looks aint everything :D

I found an 18inch squared set of wheels with 245/40 tires on all wheels. Will that fit the fronts or they are to wide?

a lot of "iffs" in there, iff the ofset is -50 at the front maybe
if the suspension is standard then maybe
if you have new springs and shocks maybe

otherwise you will be grinding down the wheel arch like i did
the rear will be fine

"Not exactly cossetting" is how I'd describe ride quality on staggered 18s with Bridgestone run-flats!

I’ve always liked the style 119 wheels, simple design and is easy to clean...but I never see one on a z4. What are your opinions on these? Will they look good on a black z4?

The 119 wheels were so cheap and it has newer tires so I took the plunge. I think it looks okey on the z4. Ride hasn’t changed much too. At least now I won’t spend so much time cleaning the wheels.

They look good - I'm a big fan of 5 spoke BMW wheels.

And as you say they are so much easier to clean! (Unlike the MV2s my 1st Coupe had). :headbang:

Glad somebody liked it... :D simple and so easy to clean
I really prefer the style 197, it would look good on any BMW...but my back would hurt cleaning that.
