Switch to non run flats help please :)

Post by Meady » Thu May 09, 2019 6:37 pm

Hi Guys

Hoping for some help if possible. I have a slow puncture on one of my wheels and another one has a small chunk out of it where i accidently scratched the wheel against the curb :headbang: :headbang:

Because of the above i'm considering replacing them with Non-Run flats.

Currently i have 19" CH-R Alloys with the current tyre set up on my E89 35iS;

Fronts - 2 x MPSS (235/35/ZR19)
Rears - 2 x Continental Sports Contact 6 (265/30/ZR19)

Previously i had 4 x Goodyear Asymmetric 3's on my E85 which were great, but i'm struggling to find the above to replace like for like (don't think they make them in the current spec i have on the rear)

Any tips on what to do? I'm really not good with this stuff and just want the problem to go away and hopefully move to decent non-run flats to improve the ride and be safe as i do like to put the car through it's paces :driving: :evil:

Any help greatly appreciated!

This post is confusing - are enquiring about switching to run-flats or non-runflats?

Because of the above i'm considering replacing them with Non-Run flats.

I have Uniroyal Rainsport 4 on mine and the grip is great, especially on wet roads where it feels pretty much the same as on dry roads.
235/35/19 255/35/19.

I think next time I will try MPS4S as they seem to be the best all rounders.
