I suspect this is pothole induced. Had some cracking bangs from misjudged potholes recently.

Fancy a switch to Goodyear now as these PSS aren’t all that for me.

After my experience, I’d be having a good look at the inside rims for cracking

Rims are 313s and like rocking horse

to find on a e89 fitment but I checked them a few weeks ago and they looked ok.

Hassle free car ownership = walking.

Obviously not seen the price of modern walking kit. I reckon I spend as much a year on walking boots as tyres.

Looks like I may need to get rid of my 313s due to some cracking to the rear

Did you get this bulge on the front or the rears? If you find cracks on the fronts I may be able to help if you need a spare. Send me a PM if thats the case.

It’s on the front. I’ve replaced the tyre now and checked the rim interior, seems fine.

Are your 313’s e89 fitment or generic m sport 313s?

Also I’m interested to know if the cracks on yours are a result of run flats?

I had exactly the same thing on one of my rear Pirellis after hitting a pothole, luckily the rim survived
